TAYLOR SWIFT IN TORONTO: NIGHT ONE - JUNE 14, 2013
The. Best. Time. When my boyfriend’s sister scored pit tickets, I could not resist the offer. We made t-shirts with the saying “Not a lot going on right meow”, Meredith hats with eyes that lit up, and of course - doused ourselves in as much red as possible. Being in the pit was unbelievable. Seeing an artist you love THAT close up is unreal. From the second she came out, we went ballistic. She touched our hands, and smiled at us thanks to our attention grabbing Meredith hats twice! A lot of people liked our hats and took pictures of us, and according to other people at the show, my boyfriend’s sister and I made it on the jumbo screen dancing like crazies before the show! Ed Sheeran is my new favourite and let me tell you, he is SO ADORABLE in person I could not contain myself when I realized how cute he actually is! And Ms. Taylor… literally flawless in every way. She puts on a such a great show - so much going on to the point that even if you don’t like her music and got dragged to one of her shows, the theatrics and drama of it all will pull you right in. Gurl knows how to perform, and she’s only gotten better with age. It’s hard to put into words how much fun I had and how exciting it all was seeing her literally an arms length away from me. All I know is that I’m so lucky and so grateful I got to see her so close up from the pit and have her acknowledge my existence with a smile - twice!
